Gobi Matar
A yummy gravy & side dish...
Preparation time: 30 minutes Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cauliflower, neatly chopped.
- 1 cup green peas.
- 2 tomatoes.
- 1 onion.
- 1/2 spoon ginger garlic paste.
- 1 spoon garam masala.
- 1/2 spoon jeera powder.
- 1 spoon red chilly powder.
- 1/2 spoon dhania powder.
- Salt to taste.
- Steam cauliflower and green peas and set aside.
- Make paste out of tomatoes and onions (separately)
- Now in a pan heat some oil, and add ginger garlic paste and saute for a while till the raw smell goes.
- Add onion puree and fry for around a minute.
- Now add tomato puree, and boil for a while, after adding a little water to enhance the gravy.
- Now add jeera powder, dhania powder, red chilly powder,garam masala and salt to taste.
- Finally add the steamed veggies and simmer for a while.
- Top it with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with roti or pulao.
