Baby corn & Peas soup
Each time I eat out, I tend to order baby corn soup,I am really addicted to its rich and sweet taste..Finally one day I cracked the recipe and made it at home. It came out just as awesome as in the restaraunts..A simple to make and yet yummy soup. Preparation time : 20 minutes.

Ingredients :
- 1 cup diced baby corn
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 4 cups milk
- 2 green chillies
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 2 pods garlic
- 1 tsp butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- small slices of baby corn, steamed.
- coriander leaves
- 2 tsp grated cheese.
How to make :
- Steam ( and not boil ) the diced baby corn and green peas separately. Steaming retains the natural taste of veggies; and also ensures that they are not overly cooked.
- Blend the steamed baby corn nicely.
- Make a fine paste of ginger, chillies and garlic.
- Now in a pan heat 1 tsp butter, and add paste of ginger, chillies and garlic, and fry for a while till the aroma comes.
- Add the pureed baby corn to it.
- Now add milk, salt to taste, and the steamed green peas.
- Bring to a boil.
- Garnish it with steamed slices of baby corn, grated cheese and coriander leaves.
- Serve hot !
