Peanut Chutney
Here goes a recipe for a chutney, which I make regularly for my husband,for whom chutney is mandatory as a side for dosas and idlis...

Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup peanuts.
- 2 Spoons channa dal
- 1 Spoon Jeera seeds
- 1/2 Spoon mustard seeds
- 1 Spoon tamarind pulp
- 1 tbsp oil
- Curry leaves
- 2-3 red chillies
- Salt to taste.
- Heat a little oil in a pan, and roast the peanuts, jeera seeds, red chillies & channa dal in it, for around 2 minutes. After cooling, grind them into a fine paste,along with tamarind pulp.
- Now splutter some mustard seeds in a little oil , add curry leaves.
- Add the ground peanut mixture to it, and saute for a while after adding salt to taste.
- Peanut chutney is ready!
